Writers block and making use of the bogeyman
Today’s question is about fear and how we face it (or not as the case may be). Ask yourself what you’re scared of today and if you were scared of the same things five or even ten or twenty years ago.
If not, what changed? Did you replace one fear with another, pile it on top of an existing one or did you overcome an old fear completely? Maybe you’re fearless. I’m not.
If you’re still scared of the same things today you were a decade ago, why is that? Perhaps you’ve just never wanted to face your fear or look at it closely enough to see what the real crux of it is.

Think about it. What use is there in hanging on to a fear for a decade? If there’s any way to be rid of it, would you want to be? (Some people don’t). Can you even voice it?Fear can be a brilliant topic to write about, either from a general point of view or a more personal perspective. You may even find out something about yourself along the way.
Fear is a question: What are you afraid of, and why? Just as the seed of health is in illness, because illness contains information, our fears are a treasure house of self-knowledge if we explore them. – Marilyn Ferguson
