As oil and gas prices continue to rise this is hurting all consumers. Everything we purchase from food to clothing is seeing a dramatic price increase. Where will it end? Not even the Wall Street experts seem to have an answer to that.

The higher gas prices go the more the consumer is looking towards the internet for their purchases. Many people who only 2 years ago would not think about giving their credit card information to an online business are now regular online shoppers.

Perhaps if there is any upside to all this would be that the small business that wanted to build their online presence are now doing so. But the small business is not the only one finding that the internet can be a boost to their budget. The average individual is also now staying at home and getting online more because of the higher fuel prices.
